Founding Program Dean – Physician Assistant Program

Chamberlain University seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) Program Dean with a doctorate degree to lead the creation, implementation and operation of its new Physician Assistant program based in Chicago.

The Program Dean will develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans for PA program effectiveness and growth consistent with the mission, vision and values of Chamberlain University. 

As a founding Program Dean, this critical role will provide executive leadership over Chamberlain University’s PA program from creation to launch of the program. The Program Dean will supervise the medical director, principal and instructional faculty and staff in all activities that directly relate to the PA program. He or she will provide effective Leadership and Management of the program to ensure a solid operational foundation. The Program Dean will manage all issues related to personnel, program and institutional processes and allocation of resources. Specifically, the Program Dean, with support from the University, will be responsible for curriculum design, course selection and program assessment, the hiring of faculty and staff and leading the program in receiving ARC-PA accreditation.
