High quality research in the area(s) of molecular biology, epigenomics (DNA methylation, Histone modifications, siRNAs) and transcriptome analysis. Knowledge of bioinformatics is preferred but not essential.
Experience in plant vitro culture is also desired.

Job Summary

The Environmental Epigenetics and Genetics Group, (College of Agriculture Food and
Environment, University of Kentucky) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for a NIFA-USDA funded position associated
to the project Influence Of Vegetative Propagation On Methylome Rejuvenation And Its Effect On Gene Regulation In Perennial Woody Crops. To meet the goals of this project we are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher with a proven track record in conducting high quality research in the area(s) of bioinformatics, ideally in the fields of epigenomics (DNA methylation, Histone modifications, siRNAs) and transcriptome analysis. Wet-lab experience is preferred but not essential. Experience in plant in vitro culture is also desired.
