Position Title: Database and Prospect Research Specialist
Department: Resource Development
Reports To: Associate Vice President of Resource Development and the NMC Foundation
Anticipated Start Date: August 12, 2019

Starting Salary: $44,190

JOB SUMMARY
This position provides technology support for an innovative team working to achieve ambitious goals for fundraising growth and alumni engagement. The position ensures staff has accurate information about alumni, donors, prospective donors, financial performance, and fundraising metrics in a timely and easily-accessible manner.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES and LICENSES
Required:

  • Associate's degree
  • Demonstrated competency with Excel and Access to manage, manipulate and analyze data
  • Minimum two years experience using data analysis and visualization tools (charting, dashboards, etc)



Preferred:

  • Experience with data management in a multi-user environment
  • Experience with prospect research
  • Experience working in a fundraising organization or environment
  • Working knowledge of Raiser's Edge or other donor management software

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises others in accordance with NMC's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, recognizing employees; addressing performance problems or gaps.

WORK HOURS:

This is a full-time, 40+ hour per week position.
