Position Summary:
Office of Financial Aid. The Enrollment Services Representative assists students and university constituents, primarily over the phone with enrollment-related needs, using excellent customer service, in the university's first-stop enrollment call center.

Essential Functions

  • Provides direct customer assistance and telephone information services to prospective and current students and their supporters with enrollment processes primarily in Financial Aid, Registrar, Bursar, and Admissions Departments.
  • Answers high-volume, multi-line telephone system and gives high level service, attempting to resolve issues or questions without referral.
  • Understands current Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Bursar policies and procedures and how they impact student enrollment processes.
  • Maintains confidentiality of student records in compliance with the Family Education/Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Three or more years of related work experience

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment

    Preferred Education:


    Preferred Experience::
    Experience in a customer-service focused position based primarily on the telephone; knowledge of Banner student information system

    Salary Range: $25,500 - $31,200
