Department WFSU Public Media is an affiliate station for both PBS and NPR programming in North Florida and South Georgia. WFSU is located in Tallahassee, FL and is a unit of Florida State University. FSU's Equal Opportunity Statement can be viewed at: http://www.hr.fsu.edu/PDF/Publications/diversity/EEO_Statement.pdfResponsibilities Responsibilities include account reconciliation and data maintenance of the WFSU accounting systems, maintaining records and coordinating retention schedules, assisting with Human Resources and various administrative tasks, and assisting the administrative assistant with coverage of the front desk.

Responsible for accounting reconciliations including monthly P-Card reconciliations and credit card reconciliations. Credit card reconciliations involve verifying transactions in Allegiance (membership database), FSU Foundation ledgers and merchant account statements. Confirms accounts payable entries in ledgers to the original documents. Inputs accounts payable transactions (from OMNI system, FSU Foundation and Research Foundation) into the WFSU internal accounting system (QuickBooks).

Identifies accounting/deposit attributes for revenue received for daily deposit. Inputs daily deposit transactions into the WFSU internal accounting system (QuickBooks) and updates the receivable systems for Auxiliary and Underwriting. Serves as an alternate processor for credit card payments for auxiliary (FD100Ti terminal). Prints WFSU Underwriting monthly invoices. Serves as an alternate for auxiliary invoicing.

Serves as an alternate WFSU purchasing representative. Enters purchase requisitions into OMNI as requested by WFSU department/budget managers. Coordinates purchase order renewals as needed. Ensures WFSU is in compliance with purchasing policies and procedures. Monitors encumbrances. Processes change orders as needed.

Responsible for records management and retention. Ensures all financial and human resource records are retained in accordance with University and granting agency guidelines. Ensures files are maintained for audit review. Maintains reconciliation documentation; scans and saves pdfs to appropriate electronic folder. Coordinates the financial and human resource records retention with the FSU Records Management Liaison Officer and Total Recall.

Assists the WFSU Administrative Specialist with human resource and administrative reporting. Responsible for the coordination of the FACET reporting process for both Exempt and Non-Exempt employees. Assists with driver license verification checks, OMNI role certifications and recruiting processes.Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience working in an office setting environment.

Strong computer skills and experience working with various Microsoft Office products.

Strong customer service skills & ability to get along well with others.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of basic accounting systems and practices.

Knowledge of the principles and practices of fiscal control systems.
