Post-Master’s Fellowship Program in Childhood Adversity/Trauma for September 2019

Vineland, NJ

Excellent opportunity to accrue hours for clinical licensure. As part of a multidisciplinary team under the direction of Esther Deblinger, Ph.D., co-developer of Trauma-Focused CBT, responsibilities include conducting assessments of children who have experienced maltreatment and providing therapy to children and families impacted by child sexual abuse, physical abuse, and other traumas. Didactics on various topics related to childhood trauma as well as formal training and supervision in TF-CBT provided. Full-time one-year positions with an option for additional years are available for qualified candidates interested in a clinical fellowship.

Qualified candidates include those interested in providing evidenced-based treatment to children and adolescents impacted by adverse childhood experiences. Licensure in the State of New Jersey by the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners or the State Board of Social Work Examiners (LAC/LSW) is required. Applicants with the ability to provide services to clients in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply. Travel between the two CARES sites (Vineland and Stratford) as well as to CP&P offices is required. Evening hours are required.
