SCAD seeks a Testing Coordinator/Accommodations Support staff member to arrange test proctoring services. In this role, you will ensure the timely, secure and accurate storage and delivery of exams as well as enforce and convey testing guidelines to students and faculty.

You will also coordinate a welcoming front office reception, provide general information about office or campus requirements for disability accommodations and determine whom in the office or elsewhere on campus to refer faculty, staff, students, parents or visitors. Assisting the accommodations coordinator, the Testing Coordinator organizes and administers the CS3 Notes accommodations program for students, supports the recruitment and training of student volunteer note-takers and tracks outstanding notes requests.

The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal communications skills for interacting with students, faculty, staff, parents, and visitors in person, via telephone and through written correspondence. Highly organized and detail-oriented, they are able to articulate program goals and are adept at interacting with diverse populations, including those who require a number of support needs. The ability to identify, prioritize and communicate office needs, projects and complex scheduling issues to the appropriate CS3 team members is essential. Knowledge of federal laws and regulations regarding disability accommodation services and mandates for students in higher education is preferred.

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of two to three years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, high-traffic office environment
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to use a wide range of office equipment and technology
•Available to work flexible and extra hours during midterms and final exams
