Program Manager, Diversity and Inclusion, College of Business

The Lindner Diversity & Inclusion, Program Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of programs and events that drive diversity and fosters inclusion within the UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business. Managed by the Director of Diversity and Inclusion, this role supports the strategic direction of the college and university.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate, develop and maintain the programmatic features of the Business Fellows program and conduct daily operational activities in conjunction with the Business Fellows Program Director, student leaders and partner organizations.

Programs include, but not limited to:

Business Buddies Peer Mentor Program

Incoming First Year Student Orientation Dinner

Six (6) General Body Meetings Annually

Spring Talent Preview

Alumni Speaker Series, in conjunction with the Alumni Association

Corporate Visits (approximately six (6) annually)

Executive Coaching Series

Alumni Golf Outing, in conjunction with the Business Fellows Alumni Society

The Toast, the annual fundraiser and signature experience for the program

Maintain, analyze and report data and research based on feedback and competitive standards to drive innovation, optimization and efficiency for all programs

Exercise responsible fiduciary decision making and reporting

Partner with the leadership team to ensure the long-term sustainability of the program and the matriculation and personal success of students

    Daily Operatins, which include, but not limited to:

    FERPA-Protected Database Management

    Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)

    Electronic Newsletter Creation and Distribution

    Expense Reconciliation

    Website Content Updates

    Alumni Tracking

    Participate in the planning, promotion and execution of the annual Lindner Summer Institute, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    Ensure compliance with UC Risk Management

    Coordinate requests for UC Campus Services

    Facilitate receipt and initial evaluatin of applicants

    Field questions from key constituents

    Collaborate with Lindner Faculty, Undergraduate Recruitment, IT and Building Services

    Identify channels and execute marketing for viable participants

    Source supplies and materials for the experience

    Confirm engagements with external partners

    Adhere to budget constraints and reconcile expenses

    Engage with student emplyees

Additional Responsibilities (but not limited to):

    Manage Lindner Diversity & Inclusion student workers, which would include: recruiting, on-boarding, training, disseminating assignments, setting priorities, ensuring quality, performance reviews, payroll reconciliation and disciplinary action, if necessaryServe as a resource by providing training and delivering presentations related to diversity & inclusionSupport other UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business diversity programs and organizations as needed, which include:Lindner Wmen in BusinessOut in BusinessiCats

Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years’ experience; -OR- Associate’s degree with five (5) years’ experience; -OR- seven (7) years’ experience. Experience must be in program development or business administration. Experience may require at least one (1) year of supervision.
