Oversees the development, implementation and execution of a comprehensive strategic marketing and promotions plan to increase attendance and revenue for all home intercollegiate athletic events.


  • Develop advertising campaigns for football, basketball, baseball, and softball utilizing purchased, trade, electronic media, and all social advertising
  • Develop, coordinate and implement all game-day promotional events;
    • collaborate with student organizations
    • maximize video board displays for game-day promotions to include special entrances and game atmosphere
    • Work directly with the cheerleading coach and supervisor to market the cheerleading squad and mascot systematically
  • Coordinate, promote and script articulation with Pep Band (football and basketball), cheerleaders and dance teams
  • Coordinate in-game promotions and execute theme game nights for football, basketball, baseball, softball and other select
  • Work closely with Out Front Media and Stetson Sport's Properties to ensure the fulfillment of all sponsorship contracts, including arena and stadium signage, public address announcements, in-game promotions, logo recognition and all other components incorporated into a game presentation
  • Manage pre-game tailgate for football including "Hatter " Village"
  • Conceptualize, develop and distribute marketing and promotional materials as appropriate and work with outside vendors as appropriate
  • Performs other site and position specific functions as assigned

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree

Required Skills
  • Good communication skills and use of social media are particularly important
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with main operating systems, such as Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and MAP-Works
Required Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree is required with professional experience in marketing, sports marketing, advertising, promotions, events, public relations or related field
  • The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Experience with Photoshop, lnDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and other similar graphic design software
