Maryville University’s Rawlings Sport Business Management program can turn a student’s passion for sports into a career they will love. Our faculty play an integral role in driving this outcome. As such, we are looking to hire an energetic and passionate full-time faculty member into the rapidly growing Rawlings Sport Business Management Program. The successful candidate will teach sport business management courses and advise and mentor students in the program. In addition, the faculty member will assist in the development, coordination and implementation of experiential learning opportunities for Rawlings Sport Business Management students and assist in School of Business recruitment programs. The faculty member will also manage and develop contacts and relationships for the program in addition to teaching courses with partner sport business organizations. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff and students.
Minimum Qualifications•Masters degree in sport management or a related field
•At least three years of professional experience in the business of sports
•Ability to develop and teach a variety of sport business management courses in both on-ground and online formats
•Student centered approach and passion for teaching and mentoring a diverse student population
•Commitment to an experiential learning philosophy
•Doctorate in Sport Management or related field
•On-line teaching experience
•University-level teaching experience

Campus Map
On the Maryville campus, academic, administrative and housing buildings span 130-acres of beautiful wooded and landscaped scenery. Maryville has constructed 10 new campus buildings since 1998. They include the Anheuser-Busch Academic Center, Art & Design Building, University Auditorium, Donius University Center, state-of-the-art health professions facility Myrtle E. and Earl E. Walker Hall and five student apartment buildings.
