Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) at the University of North Texas seeks qualified individuals for the Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need is to teach 20 contact hours per week, teaching two IELI courses selected from Communication (Levels 1-6) and Writing/Grammar (Levels 1-6). The assignment may include curriculum development, participation in committees, student activities, faculty meetings and other activities to support the program.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's degree in TESOL or closely related field
* Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching ESL at a university-based IEP
* Experience teaching all language skills
* Successful experience adapting classroom content to better serve students' needs
* Proven ability to adjust to different cultures and work environments

Preferred Qualifications:
Successful experience using technology in a classroom environment.
