Under general supervision, the New Grad RN identifies and implements interventions and evaluates results for a wide variety of patient populations. Patients include CT surgery, CHF, Stroke, Vascular and Cardiology patients at a PCU/IMU level of care. Achieves trust in professional collegial relationships. Participates in interdisciplinary rounds. Acts as patients advocate. Actively seeks advice and discuss cases with more senior staff, resource, and charge nurses. Promote compliance and support of policies and procedures. Actively seeking educational opportunities.

This posting is for our July 2019 New Grad RN program. Start dates will vary throughout July and August.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
Must have an active CA RN license by start date.
BART or BLS/CPR certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
ART or ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work on a busy team environment.
Must have less than six (6) months of working RN experience.
- BSN.
- Externship/Internship/Preceptorship in PCU/IMU or Cardiology.
- Completion of EKG course.
- Bilingual.
- Community service and/or volunteer work.
- Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
