Job Details
Individual must have 3 years experience in the HVAC industry. Candidate must work well in a team environment and communicate effectively in an instructional setting, be a self starter, be willing to work with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $580 per semester hour. Travel may be required to various locations. Subject to criminal background check. Resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcripts required in addition to application. Successful candidate must provide letters of work experience.
Required EducationAssociate Degree or higher.
8 or more years industry experience as a full time technician in the HVACR field may fulfill education requirement.
Be able to communicate well with students, and convey skills need for an entry level HVACR technician. Skills required are residential and commercial HVAC installation and repair. Experience in refrigeration systems and repair.
Preferred Skills & AbilitiesRequired ExperienceThree years of HVAC experience in the industry including installations of HVAC equipment, service, maintenance, and repair of existing systems. Experience in duct system design, heat load calculations and building science.
