Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Psychology invites applications for a 1-year, full-time instructor position for the 2019-2020 academic year. The department has 35 full-time faculty members and serves 1,200+ undergraduate psychology and neuroscience majors. For more information about the department, see http://www.luc.edu/psychology

This is exclusively a teaching position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 8 courses on a 4/4 load or 7 courses on either a 3/4 or 4/3 semester schedule, depending on class enrollment sizes.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in psychology and evidence of excellence in teaching are required. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach introductory psychology, research methods, statistics and other general service courses in the psychology major.
