Position Summary

NYU’s prestigious Stern School of Business has a challenging opportunity for an Associate Director, Records and Enrollment. The selected candidate will direct student registration for Stern’s graduate programs, totaling 4000 students. S/he will manage the registration process including: developing, maintaining and enhancing registration lottery and wait list systems, and establishing registration deadlines. The selected candidate will conduct data and trend analysis and reporting for leadership and faculty, and make strategic recommendations to the Associate Dean to improve systems. S/he will also work closely with Admissions and Advising to develop and implement new student registration processes and facilitate communication from acceptance to enrollment.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor degree (Master degree preferred) and 5 years’ experience supervising office operations and staff or equivalent combination. Must include experience with budget administration. The candidate must also possess excellent organizational, project management and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures to a diverse group. Excellent writing and communication skills. Strong client relations. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications. Knowledge of Brio, IQUEL query, advanced EXCEL and PeopleSoft preferred.
