Position Summary

This role will provide vital support in the processing of admission applications, as well as developing, executing, and managing the communication stream to our applicants, and admitted students.  Extensive involvement in admissions data is expected with a full understanding of how our various systems work and interact with one another with the goal of efficiently completing applicant files. Full knowledge of our programs is also expected as the incumbent will interpret and communicate admissions criteria to prospective students and review and evaluate academic credentials of prospective students relative to admissions requirements. This role will serve as a liaison with various School offices/departments on matters related to admissions communications and will assist in developing and refining admissions-based workflows. The incumbent will evaluate our communications strategies and make recommendations to increase engagement to our pool of applicants. 

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Relevant courses/training in HTML, database systems/logic, SQL, content marketingRequired Experience:3+ years relevant experience in admissions, including experience in executing communication plans and/or the management of admissions operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Experience:Prior experience in higher education is preferred with familiarity with using Slate Technolutions software. Experience in an admissions processing operation for a large college or universityRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to develop and evaluate communication plans and workflows, and its integration with admission systems and process. Knowledge of admissions software applications including CRM systems and databases to update, track, and manage information. Ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures verbally and in writing. Ability to manage large-scale admissions processes and ability to execute and successfully complete several projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of customer support service model. Ability to work some evenings and weekends.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to develop and manage communication/marketing content and experience with a CRM system
