The Assistant Baseball Coach is responsible for: Recruiting student athletes (baseball). Assisting head baseball coach with daily practice activities. Attending all home and away contests and conduct pre-game practice activities.Monitoring academic progress of team student athletes. Supervising field preparations for practice and games

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Required. Three years of college or professional baseball playing experience. 2 years of college or 4 years of high school baseball coaching experience. Knowledge of rules of baseball. Time management and supervisory skills for team activities. Ability to instruct & supervise hitting or pitching. Must have or be able to pass NCAA recruiting certification. Must have CPR and First Aid certifications.

Preferred Qualifications Salary $40,564 Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Must be physically able to conduct practice (hitting, throwing) and run between first base and dugout during games. Position requires frequent work at night, on weekends, outdoors, and in inclement weather.
