The Executive Director of Admissions responsible for oversight and management of all aspects of the enrollment department including admissions operations, outreach and recruitment, enrollment marketing and social media, reporting and data presentation. This position is directly responsible for providing leadership and managing functions to successfully increase enrollment on a consistent basis. JOB FUNCTIONS
produce the annual enrollment plan and execute on the plan to achieve or exceed annual enquiry, conversion and matriculation targetsperformance manage all members of the enrollment teamwork closely with the EVP and president to ensure collaboration and coordination of enrollment activities with college projects and activitiesparticipate in college committees and stakeholder groups, bringing enrollment perspective to all college activitiesmanage admissions operations including prospective student tracking and communications, matriculation and admissions process, international students, SEVIS compliancemanage outreach and recruitment including recruiters covering Bay Area/CA/USA/international territoriesmanage college open days and prospective student tours including Champions weekends and other prospective student activitiescollaborate with the marketing department to provide robust enrollment marketing including quarterly digital campaigns, social media campaigns, content and tracking of all enrollment marketingprovide reporting and data presentations including dashboards, tracking to targets, and other reporting to enrollment team members, stakeholders, Cabinet, EVP and president
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES assume additional responsibilities, lead special projects, and assist with other duties as needed or requestedexhibit student centeredness in performance of all job dutiestreat all others with respectunderstand the impact of culture/background on the behavior of others, respect differences among the Life West community and demonstrate inclusive behavioranticipate, listen to, understand and respond to customer needsdeliver work product and services to customers in a way that reflects positively on the department and the college REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training and/or Experiencebusiness, marketing or communication degree5-8 years of college enrollment management experienceexperience with digital marketing and database analysisexperience in chiropractic admissions preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics
- ability to work independently in a complex environment with a high level of accuracy , reliability, and collaborationexcellent skills in organization, oral and written communication, analytical and problem solving, leadership and team buildingability to perform multiple duties in addition to departmental responsibilities with frequent interruptions and time pressuresability to lead change managementability to analyze and resolve conflicts in routine as well as crisis situations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipmentrequires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work filesmust be able to lift 25 lbs, retrieving and placing materials on high shelves and on floor-level shelves; standing, walking, carrying, grasping, hearing, seeing, sitting, kneeling, climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and reaching WORKING CONDITIONSwork performed in a general office environment2. periodic travel will be required.
