Position Information

Position Title Department Manager - Admin Job Search Identifier Staff Proposed Salary 72-$40,686.00 General Summary of Responsibilities

Set up and operation of the Banner Financial Aid Module; troubleshoot technical and database issues; support Campus Logic Processes; oversee the electronic data exchange with the Federal Central Processing Center and the Common Origination and Disbursement Center; process Student Aid Report corrections; award students; oversee imaging process; maintain the Office of Financial Aid web page and data bases; supervise assigned staff; and other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
Experience in technology support or database administration.

- Position Requires completion of VSU’s Annual Compliance Training course (such as State Business Transactions, Drug Free Workplace, Anti-Harassment Policy, Introduction to Information Security, Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Policy, USG Ethics Policy, Conflict of Interest/ Outside Activities Policy, Leave Procedures for Faculty and Staff, Georgia Open Records Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and Contracts 101.

Assist staff, students and families with technical problems in Campus Logic’s Verify My FAFSA application.
