Job Description Summary

The main goal for the ambassador manager is to aid and assist the director of the ambassador programs. For some parts of the year the director of the ambassador program will be out of the office for college fairs, reading files, planning event, etc. When out, the ambassador manager will assist will the duties of helping, training, and managing the ambassador program. The ambassador manager also will make schedules for the ambassadors, manage the ambassador website, update all ambassadors on new information, and other daily tasks. The ambassador manager should be a representation of the admissions office.

Specific Duties

-Assist with the hiring and training of all student ambassadors.
-Create and update schedules for all student ambassadors.
-Manage the student ambassador website.
- Maintain communication of updates to ambassadors utilizing the ambassador website, email, and board in ambassador office.
-Assist with maintaining an internal budget of ambassador work hours.
- Assist with project management amongst ambassadors.
-Organizes ambassador attendance at college fairs.
-All duties as assigned by ambassadors including, not limited to: data entry, conducting campus tours, customer service, email correspondence, Spotlight and Preview Day attendance.

Minimum Qualifications

-Traditional undergraduate student, enrolled full-time.
- Experience as a student ambassador

Employees are eligible for the following benefits:

One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.

University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan – can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds.

In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.

Covered under the University of La Verne Workers Compensation Insurance.
