Honors Carolina is a four-year academic program geared toward the top 10 percent of undergraduates at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Position Description

This position will provide administrative support to full time as well as some part time employees working on the Honors Carolina “Go Anywhere” initiative. This is an integral role in a busy and productive unit that is launching new programming and resources to support students. Individual will assist with all aspects of the initiative, including placement logistics, communication, and coordination of events. Individual will interface with students, employers, board members, and Advisory Committee members. Individual will have primary responsibility for updates to the GO ANYWHERE platform, including: adding new Alumni, Mentors and Ambassadors to the platform, posting and uploading new job and internships, running reports, reviewing discussion room activity, and updating resource content.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in office setting.
• Ability to coordinate data and streams of information for a variety of tasks with a wide range of complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with key stakeholders and constituent groups and foster the spirit of engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
