SCAD seeks a Director of Operations and Services to provide a leadership role in planning, organizing and managing activities related to registrar services. In this role, you will serve the student population by facilitating class enrollment and contributing to the academic and institutional integrity of the university by applying policy consistently and effectively.
Reporting to the senior director of registrar services and academic support, the Director will supervise assistant registrars and the information specialist. You will also work closely with the director of student success and advising, the director of curriculum management, the director of financial aid, admission, academic deans and other leaders in the academic and student services community.
The ideal candidate has experience in management, a background in academic arenas and a demonstrated record of accomplishment in the coordination and oversight of several projects simultaneously. Strong research skills and the ability to work and communicate well with all levels of internal and external individuals including students is essential.
•Master’s degree in higher education or related field preferred
•Excellent computer skills and experience working with administrative software such as Banner•
•Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
