College of Engineering and Applied Science is seeking applications from Machine Shop/Welding Shop instructors. This person will supervise senior students while they are working in the Machine shop or welding shop and will sometimes he students with their machining, welding or CNC machining. Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty are selected on an as-needed basis to teach face - to-face classes and online instruction
Minimum qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent degree
- Experience in Machining and Welding
- Knowledge of CNC machining
- Experience in supervising and working with students
- Good communication skills
- Familiar with manufacturing safety procedure
- Strong attention to detail with a safety thinking mindset
