    Are you wondering where you can apply your analytical and tech skills without having to be cooped up and devoid of any human interaction? If so, you may be interested in the Research Analyst position at CUI! In this position, you'll be collecting, analyzing, and assessing data for the university using Excel, Access, enterprise data management software (Banner), and various statistical analysis programs to manage institutional data. You will also interact with faculty and staff across campus to collect information and provide presentations regarding the research results.

    About the Office of Institutional Research at Concordia:

    The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) at Concordia University provides analytical decision support services to university administration and faculty as well as various other university constituents. Its primary function is to serve as a catalyst in the efficient collection, analysis, and dissemination of data pertaining to the university. It is the repository of all institutional related data. It also collaborates with the university's Educational Effectiveness Committee in designing and implementing assessment systems for academic programs, co-curricular activities, and staff departments. The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment achieves its mission by serving as the focal point of university data and by conducting and supporting various studies pertaining to institutional improvement. While a substantial amount of independent research is performed by the office, a significant amount of the office's resources are devoted to the support of university administration, committees, departments, faculty, and staff.

    What you need to be qualified for this job:

    • At least a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A masters' degree is preferred, but not a requirement.
    • Adaptability to new technology and attention to detail.
    • A relatively outgoing personality and strong social skills to work effectively with personnel throughout campus.
    • The ability to take initiative, have ownership of your work, and operate with limited direction.
    • A good sense of creativity and style to produce aesthetically pleasing infographics and data presentation.
