Department/Organization: 224101 – Dean’s Office-Social Work

Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Accountant III supervises and participates in the maintenance of advanced accounting and financial records. Prepares integrated financial and statistical reports, statements, projections, and recommendations. Generally supervises the activities of a staff within a business unit or department.

Additional Department Summary: Position is responsible for fiscal management of operating budgets, contract and grant budgets, and gift funds.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance and four (4) years professional accounting experience; OR a Masters degree in Accounting or Business and 3 years professional accounting experience; OR CPA and 3 years professional accounting experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have experience using the banner systems. Must have two years of supervisory experience.
