We invite candidates to apply for our Master Audiovisual Technician position. This position is primarily responsible for the daily support and maintenance of all college audiovisual equipment. It is also responsible for leading the college’s long term and short term audiovisual planning efforts, providing end-users with training and assistance as required, and providing some limited video recording and editing. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core values of Learning, People, Student Success, and Forward Thinking, in all interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Associate in Arts or Associate in Science preferred. In lieu of degree and certifications, consideration can be given for extra recent years of experience as approved by the President.

Extron AV Associate certification is required.

EXPERIENCE: two to five years of audio/visual technical support experience is required. Knowledge of video and audio presentation equipment, some understanding of television station operations/equipment, experience with multi-media/distance learning equipment, video production and editing and video and satellite conferencing.
