Job Summary The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Clayton State University is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Instructor of Psychology position. The successful candidate will be expected to begin on January 1, 2020. In compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, proof of authorization to work in the U.S. will be required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate psychology lectures for Psychology and Human Services majors and/or Introduction to General Psychology lectures and labs for non-science majors
  • Hold office hours to assist students with their course work.
Required Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree and at least 18 graduate hours in psychology (or related field). Professional degrees are suitable as long as there are 18 graduate hours applicable to psychology.

Preferred Qualifications Desirable qualifications include successful college teaching experience, ability and desire to teach undergraduate psychology courses to Psychology and Human Services majors and/or Introduction to General Psychology lectures for non-science majors and ability to teach a course during the day or possibly online.
