JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Project studying Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) funded by the US DOE and the state
of Massachusetts. The candidate will join a research team studying catalytic processes for converting waste food and biomass streams into useful energy, chemical, and materials products.

Responsibilities will include catalyst synthesis and characterization, reactor operation, product analysis, and data analysis and reporting. A Ph.D. in chemical engineering or allied field is required. Excellent communication skills and record of publication in chemical reaction engineering or separations is expected.
