This includes the development of an outcomes assessment program, and related course delivery. This position will also be responsible for facilitating the review and approval of successful participation in the experiences overseas. This position serves as a liaison with overseas centers and campus partners for IP’s formative experience process.

Teach two of the required courses for the freshmen programs: Global Foundations and Global Engagement, each designed to introduce the students to the basic concepts, theories and behaviors associated with intercultural communication and prepare the participants with practical skills for living abroad. Develop and implement a plan to teach these courses more broadly, across multiple terms and programs.

Support the administration of IP’s study abroad programs including the freshmen offerings. These tasks include assisting in recruiting, advising, and participating in orientations focused on pre-departure information, transitions to new locations overseas, and the re-entry experience.Qualifications Master's degree and two years of experience related to the duties of this position.

Prior teaching experience or experience presenting to large groups.

Experience interpreting academic program requirements and providing advice.

Experience multitasking, prioritizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience adhering to ethical business practices and promoting ethical behavior.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer functions.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Preferred PhD and experience teaching at a collegiate level.

Master’s degree in international affairs, international relations, international communications or related discipline.

Experience studying abroad.
