Job Details
- Coordinate and post monthly time schedules as requested for each nursing unit in accordance with policies and procedures of the department. This involves scheduling all nursing unit employees.
- Provide schedules for new staff as directed.
- Record all status changes on daily staffing sheet and master schedule daily.
- Maintain file and process time off requests, i.e. emergency leave, vacation days or personal days off on a daily basis. Serves as central control for all "call in" notifications from staff and assures that replacement staff is obtained as directed.
- Enter into computer the employees information relating to schedule changes daily.
- Schedule CNA's as needed to transport resident to appointments or for special trips.
- Schedule staff and keep records of MOT and VOT dates on a daily basis. Maintain and post current MOT and VOT roster as requested.
- Direct employees to appropriate personnel for payroll and time and attendance information.
- Responsible for central distribution of all Nursing Department payroll checks and direct deposit slip as assigned.
- Participate in maintaining computerized data and performing other administrative tasks for managerial staff.
- Follow up with Employee Health and Time and Attendance regarding employee status as directed.
- Reconcile Timecards.
