This is a temporary position for approximately two months. There will be no benefits offered with this position.

Job Summary
The primary duties of the Research Technician are to employ advanced statistical, mathematical, and machine learning methods in fishery science.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist with and lead research using advanced statistical algorithms.
  2. Data entry and QA/QC
  3. Conducting data analyses and simulation modeling
  4. Assisting with manuscript preparation and stakeholder outreach efforts.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
M.S. in a related field and previous research experience in statistical modeling and machine learning

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
R programming, Python programming

Preferred Qualifications
Record of publication of quantitative research methods
