Applicationsfor Public Health Adjunct Faculty will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewedas needed.
Responsibilitiesinclude teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students in a variety of coursesin the area of Public Health (Personal Wellness, Community Health, Communicableand Chronic Diseases, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Education, HealthCare Finance, Health Law, Health Administration, Health Policy, Workplace HeathPromotion, etc.)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Face-to-face course delivery and/or online instruction
2. Prepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely manner
3. Communicate course requirements and expectations to students
4. Performs other duties, as assigned
2. Ability to teach effectively at the university level
3. Criminal history and background check clearance.
4. Uphold the mission and values of USM, College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Health Professions
1. Teaching, mentoring and service experience at university level
2. Professional experience in Public Health
3. Experience with Canvas technology
