UC Clermont College is located in the center of Clermont County on 91 beautiful wooded acres in Batavia Township 30 miles east of the Clifton Campus. Opened in 1972, Clermont College is an accredited, open-access college offering more than 50 associate degrees and certificate programs and a baccalaureate degree.

UC Clermont College is looking for an Assistant Coach Minor Sports Women’s Soccer. This position will report to Brian Sullivan and will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all other activities. This is not a sponsored position.

    Direct involvement with all administrative and organizational aspects under the supervision of the Head Coach.Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all University, NCAA and Conference Rules and Regulations, Policies and Procedures paying special attention to recruiting, eligibility, admissions and financial aid.Assist in supervision of all support staff.Execute all coaching assignments and administrative responsibilities.Supervise assigned positional student-athletes in a coordinated and planned program of practices and competition, with a concern for the players’ health and welfare, physical and psychological preparation.Responsible for recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes to meet the University’s admission standards and enrollment goals.Uphold all University academic policies and assist, when appropriate, in counseling student-athletes relative to academic success, progress and eligibility.Foster and maintain positive student body and faculty relations with student-athletes.Participate in public and alumni relations and promotions activities and assist in establishing and maintaining positive relations with the media.Assist the Head Coach in cultivating and soliciting donors to meet the fundraising goals as established by the Director of Athletics.

Minimum Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree and previous college coaching and recruiting experience are preferred.Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.Computer skills are a must as is knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, admissions and financial aid officers, fellow employees, program boosters, and the public.
