Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor faculty position in the department of Engineering Technology which begins August 12, 2019. Candidates should possess expertise in the areas of Manufacturing and Automation. In addition, the faculty member may be required to teach thermodynamics and energy courses. Responsibilities will include teaching, scholarship, and service. Tenure-track faculty are expected to spend 30% of their workload in the area of research/scholarship.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

An earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology (or the foreign equivalent), and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience is required. A professional engineer’s license or certification in manufacturing engineering is a plus. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate an interest in mentoring and advising students.
College level teaching experience, and online teaching experience are desirable.
