Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

The School of Music at Kennesaw State University anticipates an opening for a part-time faculty member to teach applied percussion and percussion pedagogy and literature.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

Minimum degree is a conferred Master of Music degree in performance, or its foreign equivalent. Master’s degree in music required for instructor rank; earned doctorate, or its foreign equivalent for professorial ranks. Demonstration of successful collegiate teaching experience is ideal. Applicants with the training, ability, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum degree may be considered. The School of Music is interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching, performing and mentoring.
