The School of Education & Human Development at the Universityof Colorado Denver is seeking nominations and applications for the position of SeniorInstructor in the Learning, Design and Technology program ofthe School of Education and Human Development.

MajorResponsibilities:

  • Teach graduate courses in the Learning, Designand Technology graduate programs

  • Participate in the professional learning effortsof the school related to building faculty capacity in digital pedagogy

  • Participate in faculty meetings; providecommittee service in the Learning, Design and Technology and the School ofEducation & Human Development

  • Must be expert in  using digital media for instruction, such asCanvas, as courses at CU Denver can be offered as face-to-face, hybrid, oronline.

Qualifications

EmploymentConditions: 
This is a full-time academic year, non-tenure-track position. Opportunityfor summer teaching is available. 

 RequiredQualifications: 

  • At least a Masters degree in Learning Design andTechnology or a related field

     
  • Commitment to the professional fields of Educationand Human Development as evidenced by education, teaching, clinical experience,and professional affiliations

     
  • Demonstrated success or potential for success ingraduate-level teaching and advising

  PreferredQualifications: 

  • Demonstrate bilingual (Spanish and English)competencies in working with culturally and linguistically diverse individualsand families.

     
  • Clear evidence that race, ethnicity, class,gender, sexual orientation, religion, and veteran status and/or other socialjustice issues are addressed in syllabi, teaching, and supervision.

     
  • Experience working with graduate students ininstruction, supervision, and mentoring activities.
