Associate Director of Service for Wilks Institute
The Associate Director for Service and Community Engagement Programs is responsible for providing co-curricular, logistical and administrative support for all Wilks service and community engagement programs. Additionally, the Associate Director represents the Institute to multiple campus committees that support the service and community engagement mission of the Institute while also managing strategic communications (web/social media). The Associate Director also fosters close working relationships across the Division of Student Life, with colleagues in academic departments, and with community organizations.
- Knowledge and effective application of service and community engagement theories.
- Proven ability to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision of professional and student staff.
- Familiarity of proven assessment practices.
- Familiarity with social media accounts and website/CMS management
Master's degree in Higher Education, Social Work, Leadership/Management or related discipline; 3-7 years of experience.
