Physical Requirements

This position may require sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time. Reaching above the shoulders may be required.

Shift

Primarily generally Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, but can change according to the needs of UKHC and the department. May eventually include nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Job Summary

This Pharmacy Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring Standards of Practice in all Specialty Pharmacy areas; Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation and Contractual Compliance; Oversight of UK Specialty Pharmacy Workflow Processes and Operations; Personnel training within all specialty pharmacy areas and monitoring of staff competency.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

This position requires dependability, and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5 years of pharmacy related experience with at least one year of Specialty Pharmacy experience.
