The Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia, Dahlonega, is seeking applications for a one-year full-time, limited term faculty position (with benefits) in Art Appreciation and Art History Survey I.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will teach art appreciation, first half of the art history survey (pre-historic to Gothic), and additional art history courses in area of expertise as needed.
  • Teaching assignments will be on the Dahlonega campus, and may include evening classes.
  • Perform other duties include holding office hours, attending department meetings, and maintaining appropriate class records.
Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • The position requires an M.A. in art history. Ph.D. in art history preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience at the college level.
