Job Details
Employees perform a variety of duties in the care and cleaning of offices, classrooms, corridors and restrooms. Duties may include physically strenuous activities such as moving furniture, operating heavy cleaning equipment and trash removal. Work is guided by a daily schedule of assignments. Work is reviewed through inspections and frequent consultation with supervisory personnel. Must have the ability to work independently and remain productive.
N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSome knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Physical strength to work at medium manual labor for considerable periods of time
Additional training on new equipment and safety practices is required
