The purpose of this position is teaching, supervising, and evaluating NCTC Radiologic Technology students in Clinical/practicum experiences.

Responsibilities & Duties
1. Fulfill the obligations of adjunct faculty as set forth in the personal contract.
2. Instruction:
a) Keeps the Director of Radiologic Technology and Clinical Coordinator informed.
b) Collaborates with faculty on skill demonstration.
c) Observes student skill demonstrations.
d) Assigns clinical activities that correlate with theoretical objectives.
e) Instructs critiques and evaluates students’ clinical performance.
3. Faculty Affairs:
a) Attends level meetings.
b) Submits bi-weekly timesheets.
4. Student Affairs:
a) Maintains student records relating to clinical practice.
b) Instructs critiques and evaluates students’ performance.

Subject to criminal background check. Salary: $26/hr. Cover letter, resume and unofficial transcripts required in addition to application.

Required Education

R.T. ( R ), ARRT and current MRT Texas License

Required Skills & Abilities

Microsoft Office proficient

Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and students to attain both classroom and clinical objectives

Preferred Skills & Abilities Required Experience

Three years current clinical experience required.

Preferred Experience

Higher education instruction preferred.
