Description
The UCLA Department of Medicine at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System is seeking an Assistant Project Scientist in the Cardiology Division.
We are seeking a candidate with a track record in vascular biology. The candidate will assist the investigators with lab management, including IACUC protocols and IRB applications, team science, and research proposals. The candidate is expected to train and work alongside graduate and undergraduate students. The candidate will also work in collaboration with P.I. Tzung Hsiai, MD, PhD. The candidate will conduct NIH- and/or VA-funded research projects. The candidate will present experimental designs and findings at the weekly lab meetings and at national conferences.
PhD is required.
