Job Details

DescriptionReporting to the Associate Director of Financial Operations, and in close collaboration with the entire Parking Services team, the Marketing and Operations manager splits their time between marketing functions and audit/reconciliation tasks for the Department. As a skilled and creative marketing professional, the Manager is in charge of developing and implementing a strategic plan for marketing the department’s services both within and beyond the Temple University community. This includes enhancing and maintaining the Department’s social media presence, creating print and digital advertisements, creating how-to videos, recommending updates to the website, plus much more. Additionally, the Manager will be trained on how to perform various audit and reconciliation procedures and will be expected to complete these tasks in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Manager will also assist in providing superior customer service, and support Department operations in an array of business activities including special and promotional events. Performs other duties as assigned. 
Required Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study. At least two years of directly related experience. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a strategic marketing plans. Experience with social media platforms. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:* Ability to develop print and digital marketing content.* Knowledge of marketing and operations best practices.* Knowledge of social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. * Ability to work within a team and form productive working relationships within and external stakeholders.* Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.* Ability to provide clear, concise and professional communication to employees at all levels across the institution.* Attention to detail. Ability to develop accurate written materials.* Ability to manage and lead projects to deadlines.* Must have a valid driver’s license.
