The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Western Carolina University is seeking applications for a one-year fixed-term position at the rank of Instructor to begin in August 2019.

The position requires a master’s degree, including 18 semester hours of graduate coursework in mathematics, from an appropriately accredited institution. Evidence of excellent teaching and versatility in teaching lower division mathematics courses is preferred.

Duties include teaching 12 credit hours each semester in mathematics and/or statistics at the undergraduate level as well as departmental or institutional service.
