Occupational Summary

Marketing and Promotions Football Ambassador

This position will provide their high energy and enthusiasm a t numerous events in and around Durham with the goal of promoting the Duke Football program, while producing a positive emotional connection within the community in which these events take place.

Qualifications: Work requires a background in marketing or promotions normally acquired through two years post-secondary education concentrating on marketing or sales.Minimum one-year experience preferred at the collegiate or professional level, or a combination of education and experience.This position also require s that you have your own mode of transportation and are able to work nights and weekends.Required training for this position will b e provided.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

Excellent communication and organization al skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work in highly dynamic and diverse environments

Knowledgeable and proactive in football promotions and p ricing related to the coming season

Ability to physically set up event space

Valid driver's license with good driving record

Maintain a flexible work schedule

Demonstrate a positive attitude

Team player

Essential Functions:

Promote the Duke Football Brand

Represent Duke Football in a professional capacity at numerous community events, in order to increase exposure within the
Durham community

Adhere to all Duke and NCAA compliance rules

Ensure customer service
