Centralia College is currently seeking applicants for part-time, adjunct instructor position in the Bachelor of Applied Science – Applied Management (BAS-AM) program and 2-year AAS Business Administration program.Essential Duties Summary
There is one Business Law classes offered fall and winter quarters. This course is a lower division class that is scheduled Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8-8:50am.
The upper division Legal Issues class is taught is a hybrid course (in-class and online mix) taught spring quarter. This course teaches students the impacts of laws, regulations, and legal responsibilities on management behavior with a focus on the application of this learning to real life situations for organizations both large and small. This course is scheduled on Thursdays from 6-7:50pm with the remaining coursework, online.
A second section of the upper division, Legal Issues class is offered daily from 9-9:50am. This course will contain a small online component for the purposes of homework.Required Qualifications
•Juris Doctor Law degree OR Master’s degree in business with significant work experience in laws related to business.Preferred Qualifications
•Demonstrated teaching experience;
•Demonstrated proficiency with presentation software;
•Experience using Learning Management system (Canvas)
EMPLOYMENT: This is a part-time position expected to begin Fall quarter, 2019. This position may have some occasional evening classes.
