Visiting Assistant Professor, Teaching Postdoctoral Fellows
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professors / Teaching Postdoctoral Fellows (TPF). The TPF will conduct research in association with faculty research groups. Half of the TPF's time will be devoted to teaching and developing undergraduate chemistry classes and to mentoring undergraduate students and half to conducting research. These positions are well-suited for scientists who wish to prepare for a career of teaching at a primarily undergraduate institution that emphasizes excellence in both teaching and research. We welcome applications from candidates from all fields of Chemistry, but those working in Biochemistry are especially encouraged to apply.
PhD required or all requirements for the PhD must be completed by the appointment date. The University of Cincinnati teaching fellows participate extensively in the intellectual life of the department including opportunities to attend seminars and workshops, and present research results.
