Duties

The MBMI Program Coordinator reports to the Managing Director of IBI and the Faculty Director of the MBMI program to manage all aspects of MBMI and BMI Certificate program administration, in coordination with the program faculty and Managing Director. Under limited supervision, the coordinator will oversee student recruitment and admissions, student training activities and records management; student advising, course management, curriculum development, and course information management; program events; program information and data analysis; publicity and outreach; student affairs; and program budgets.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Excellent organizational, communication/writing, interpersonal and technical skills. Must be capable of discretion in handling and responding to confidential management and personnel matters.

Ability to work with and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization from senior management to students.

Ability to work independently, managing multiple and competing priorities.

Thorough and comprehensive knowledge of office procedures, practices and methods. Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and internet navigation.

Familiarity with Penn’s student records, requisition, and reimbursement systems preferred.

Experience with student advising and curriculum development preferred.
