The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth seeks an Asst Professor-Pharmacotheraphy.
Duties: Teach pediatric pharmacotherapy classes in Pharm.D. curriculum including Integrated Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacy Practice courses. Assist in developing the Pharm.D. curriculum. Participate in interprofessional education activities. Conduct research and write articles for publication in academic journals. Contribute to the clinical practice of the department. Precept clinical rotations. Advise students. Provide service to the university.
Minimum Requirements: PharmD degree. Must have graduated from an ACPE accredited pharmacy program with a pharmacy degree and be eligible to practice pharmacy in Texas. Must have completed an ASHP accredited PGY-1 post-graduate residency training program or have three years of pediatric patient-related experience. (Place of employment: principal place is at the University of North Texas HSC at 3500 Camp Bowie in Fort Worth, TX. The Assistant Professor will also spend 40% of time at Cook Children's Medical Center, 801 7th Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76104 engaged in clinical teaching.)
