The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach (50% Part-Time) reports to the Director of Athletics in all aspects of the intercollegiate sports strength and conditioning program; including working with the coaches and support staff on the overall direction and coordination of the comprehensive program. The Coach is responsible for the design, development and administration of a program for speed, strength, agility and explosion that reflects the athletic department’s goals. The coach is responsible for creating an environment that is supportive of individual differences and maximizes the educational and athletic development of the student athletes. The coach designs specific programs for each sport, in consultation with the coaches of that particular sport and is the primary strength and conditioning advisor.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, nationally recognized strength and conditioning certification that conforms with NCAA guidelines and completion of a successful interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing strength and conditioning in an intercollegiate athletic program.
